The Navier N30 Configurator Experience
At Studio 3DX, we are proud to support this evolution through Navier’s 3D configurator, a platform that reflects the same precision, innovation, and engineering approach that defines the company.

The presence of Navier at this year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show marks more than just another milestone for the brand, it signals a shift in how high-performance electric vessels are experienced, configured, and ultimately sold.
At Studio 3DX, we are proud to support this evolution through Navier’s 3D configurator, a platform that reflects the same precision, innovation, and engineering approach that defines the company.
Founded in the United States and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Navier has positioned itself within a new category of electric marine mobility. By combining hydrofoil technology with fully electric propulsion, the company is rethinking how boats move through water.
Their flagship vessel, the Navier N30, is built around this principle. Using actively controlled hydrofoils, the hull lifts above the surface, reducing drag and improving efficiency while delivering a quieter and more stable ride. With a range of over 70 nautical miles at cruising speed and a top speed of approximately 30 knots, the N30 demonstrates what is currently achievable within electric boating.
Navier has progressed from concept to real-world deployment, with vessels operating in both private and commercial contexts, including pilot programmes for water transport. Their presence at Palm Beach reflects this trajectory and continued engagement with the global boating community.
To match the sophistication of the product, we developed a 3D configurator that allows users to explore the N30 in a direct and practical way. The platform enables full control over finishes, layouts, and equipment, with every change reflected immediately on the model.
What defines this configurator is how it combines presentation, interaction, and configuration into a single system.
A presentation mode introduces the N30 through a structured sequence of scenes using the 3D model on the water. Instead of relying on static visuals or external media, the product explains itself through a short guided sequence built directly into the configurator.
Interaction is embedded into the model itself. Subtle Navier insignias placed across the boat trigger motion features when activated. Sliding doors open, components respond, and users can explore how elements behave rather than simply viewing them.

The configurator also incorporates Navier’s three limited editions: Classic, Kairo, and Fishing Expedition. Each can be selected instantly, allowing users to understand how the same platform adapts to different uses.
Personalisation is extended through flexible colour combinations. Users can match engine and hull colours or choose contrasting setups, while additional wrap options introduce further variation within a controlled palette.
Context is central to the experience. The N30 can be viewed both floating on the water and rising above it, allowing users to understand how the vessel behaves when lifted by its hydrofoil system. This is critical to understanding the product, as performance is defined by how it moves, not only how it looks.

A wide range of custom options and upgrades is also integrated. Features such as daybeds, railings, shore charging packages, and a trailer can be applied directly to the model, with each selection reflected immediately. This provides clarity at every stage of the configuration process.
The collaboration between Navier and Studio 3DX is built on a shared focus on precision and clarity. We would like to thank Navier’s team for their trust, their attention to detail, and their commitment throughout the process.
At PBIBS, visitors can experience Navier's production boat at booth SYS7. Online, the configurator ensures that this experience extends beyond the show, providing a direct way to explore and understand the product.
As the marine industry continues to evolve, projects like this redefine how products are presented and evaluated. For Studio 3DX, this represents a step forward in how configurators are used - not only to customise, but to communicate.
Navier is not just building boats for the future. Together, we are shaping how they are experienced.
